Today's Internet Computer signal explained
Internet Computer is currently on a daily BUY signal: the Supertrend (10, 3) indicator flipped bullish 18 days ago and the price ($2.86) is trading above its 200-day simple moving average ($2.44). Both the short-term trend and the long-term regime filter agree, which is the only condition under which this system issues a daily buy.
The weekly swing signal is SELL (flat). Internet Computer would need a daily close above its 20-day high of $2.99 to trigger a new breakout entry; this rule has been out of the market for 4 days.
The monthly position signal is BUY. Internet Computer cleared its 55-day closing high 30 days ago. The exit for this slower rule is a close below the 20-day low, now at $2.35.
The yearly regime is ACCUMULATE: price is above a rising 200-day moving average. In the last five years this has been the environment in which most of the sustainable upside in Internet Computer and in the wider crypto market has occurred.
Momentum check: the 14-day RSI is at 60.8. MACD is below its signal line. ADX at 28.1 indicates a strong trend. Volume is 0.96× its 20-day average. Over the last 7, 30 and 90 days Internet Computer has moved +5.1%, +23.9% and +24.4% respectively; it trades -68.0% from its 52-week high and +41.6% above its 52-week low.

About Internet Computer
The DFINITY Foundation, led by Dominic Williams, launched the Internet Computer mainnet in May 2021 after several years of research funding. Rather than settling to another chain, it runs its own network of subnet blockchains staffed by vetted node providers, with the aim of hosting entire web applications and their front ends on-chain in WebAssembly containers called canisters. Users do not pay gas directly; instead developers convert ICP into cycles, a stable-value compute credit that canisters burn as they run. ICP itself is used for that conversion, for staking in neurons that vote through the Network Nervous System governance, and for node-provider rewards.
Its token history is unusual and matters for interpreting charts: the asset listed in May 2021 at a very high valuation and then fell steeply as early allocations and seed tranches became liquid, a decline that drew significant criticism and litigation attempts against the foundation. Supply is inflationary through staking and node rewards, but ICP is also burned when converted into cycles, so net issuance depends on actual compute demand. Staked tokens sit in neurons locked for fixed dissolve periods, which structurally removes a portion of supply from circulation. Correlation with Bitcoin is high in stress periods, with idiosyncratic moves around governance proposals and protocol releases.
