Bitcoin Cash price chart with signals
Today's Bitcoin Cash signal explained
Bitcoin Cash is on a daily SELL signal: the Supertrend (10, 3) indicator has been bearish for 233 days. The trailing stop line sits at $258.17; a daily close above it would flip the indicator back to bullish, and a close above the 200-day average ($319.39) would be needed for a full buy.
The weekly swing signal is SELL (flat). Bitcoin Cash would need a daily close above its 20-day high of $261.00 to trigger a new breakout entry; this rule has been out of the market for 9 days.
The monthly position signal is SELL (flat) and has been for 9 days. A new entry requires a daily close above the 55-day high at $288.50 — a level that historically marked the start of the larger trends in this market.
The yearly regime is CASH: either the price is below its 200-day moving average or that average is still falling. Long-term accumulation rules stay defensive until both conditions turn positive.
Momentum check: the 14-day RSI is at 58.6. MACD is below its signal line. ADX at 26.4 indicates a strong trend. Volume is 2.15× its 20-day average — a notable spike. Over the last 7, 30 and 90 days Bitcoin Cash has moved +11.9%, +19.7% and +27.6% respectively; it trades -61.0% from its 52-week high and +34.1% above its 52-week low.

About Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash emerged on 1 August 2017 from a contentious hard fork of Bitcoin, driven by a faction that wanted larger blocks rather than off-chain scaling through the Lightning Network. It inherited Bitcoin's proof-of-work design, UTXO model and 21 million coin cap, changing mainly the block size limit, which was raised in stages to 32MB, and adding a different difficulty adjustment. BCH functions as a payment coin: it pays transaction fees and rewards miners, with no staking, governance or fee-capture layer. Later upgrades added CashTokens and smart-contract capabilities, but on-chain usage has remained modest relative to the available capacity.
In November 2018 the chain split again, producing Bitcoin SV after a dispute involving Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre, and a further minority split created eCash in 2020. Because BCH shares Bitcoin's emission schedule, it halves on the same block cadence, and its hashrate is a small fraction of Bitcoin's — miners rotate between the two chains as profitability shifts, which has historically caused irregular block intervals. As an asset it behaves as a high-beta Bitcoin proxy: correlation with BTC is strong, but rallies and drawdowns are amplified. Fork-related airdrop history and exchange listing decisions are the recurring structural events traders track.
