About Trust Wallet
Wallet software, not a chain, underpins Trust Wallet Token. Trust Wallet is a self-custody mobile and browser wallet supporting many networks, founded by Viktor Radchenko and acquired by Binance in 2018, later operating as a separate entity. TWT is a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain that was originally distributed free to wallet users rather than sold, and its role is limited: community governance signalling on wallet features, occasional in-app discounts and partner incentives.
