LayerZero price chart with signals
Today's LayerZero signal explained
LayerZero is on a daily HOLD: the Supertrend indicator is bullish, but the price ($1.12) remains below the 200-day moving average ($1.28). Historically, long-side signals taken below the 200-day average have had a much worse expectancy, so the system waits for a reclaim of that level before issuing a buy.
The weekly swing signal is SELL (flat). LayerZero would need a daily close above its 20-day high of $1.14 to trigger a new breakout entry; this rule has been out of the market for 18 days.
The monthly position signal is SELL (flat) and has been for 8 days. A new entry requires a daily close above the 55-day high at $1.20 — a level that historically marked the start of the larger trends in this market.
The yearly regime is CASH: either the price is below its 200-day moving average or that average is still falling. Long-term accumulation rules stay defensive until both conditions turn positive.
Momentum check: the 14-day RSI is at 59.0. MACD is below its signal line. ADX at 33.3 indicates a strong trend. Volume is 1.62× its 20-day average. Over the last 7, 30 and 90 days LayerZero has moved +13.8%, +30.3% and +24.1% respectively; it trades -54.0% from its 52-week high and +56.3% above its 52-week low.

About LayerZero
LayerZero is an omnichain messaging protocol rather than a blockchain, launched in 2022 by LayerZero Labs under Bryan Pellegrino, allowing contracts on one chain to send verified messages to contracts on another without a traditional lock-and-mint bridge. Security is configurable: each application selects its own decentralised verifier networks and executors, so trust assumptions are set per deployment rather than imposed globally. It underpins a large share of cross-chain token transfers through its OFT standard. ZRO, introduced at the June 2024 token launch, is a governance asset that votes on an on-chain fee switch, and it was distributed via a Proof-of-Donation claim in which claimants paid into a fund for Ethereum core developers.
Supply is fixed at one billion tokens, with strategic partner and core contributor allocations locked for a full year after launch and then released monthly across the following two years, so scheduled dilution continued well past the initial distribution. That vesting cliff structure has repeatedly been the main driver of drawdowns around unlock dates. The airdrop itself was preceded by an aggressive anti-sybil campaign that removed a large number of claimant addresses, an unusually public episode that shaped early distribution. Price correlates with cross-chain activity and general infrastructure-token sentiment more than with any single chain's usage.
